Why is it that the desires that we find deep in our hearts are so far from the life we find ourselves living? Why is it that the movies we watch speak to us far more than our daily grind? There was a heart that we had as a boy filled with wonder and dreams of battle, adventure, and beauty. Somewhere in the process of boy to man most of us lose heart. Maybe not all of it, but we lose big chunks of it. And in order to find the life that we are still looking for, we have to go get those lost parts of our heart back.

This is a journey into wholeheartedness. In the course of this journey it opens up a world that we have been waiting for. Join us as we journey together through this video-driven 4-day retreat surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation at Rockin’ Hil Ranch near Bennington, Kansas.

OUR RETREATS

Disconnect from the distractions of the world for a few days. Our retreats provide opportunities to encounter God and share sacred space with other like-hearted men.

We host retreats in the Spring and in the Fall. Each retreat is a little different than the last.

A few things remain constant each time we gather.

  • Encounter > Content - It’s not difficult to find content. Podcasts, sermons, videos, articles, etc. We don’t need more content. What we need is an encounter with God. Our retreats value time spent with God, which is why we set aside a lot of time for your get into nature and commune with God. Ask Him questions. Seek His face. Listen for His voice. Receive all He has for you.

  • Connection > Isolation - Guys are really good at hiding their pain and isolating from others, especially if shame or fear is present. Early on at our retreats you’ll find you’re not alone in your pain. Connection happens as other men tell their stories and you discover that you’re not the only one in the valley.

  • Nature > Indoors - God didn’t breathe life into Adam and set him in an office building. Adam was made for the outdoors. God’s good creation must be experienced and explored. Our retreats take advantage of rolling hills, ponds, and woodlands at a beautiful, serene 200-acre ranch South of Bennington, Kansas. It’s not unusual to see deer, turkey, squirrels, and many other wildlife during your time at the ranch.
